P2 Winter Walk
P2 went out and about to look for signs of Winter as part of our topic work for ‘Brr...It’s Freezing’. It was a crisp, frosty morning with a low lying winter sun. Perfect for our boys and girls to become Winter Detectives. We found deciduous and evergreen trees, frozen grass and leaves, mini-beasts hiding under logs, holly, berries, lots of ice and of course we had our winter coats, hats, scarves and gloves on to keep us warm. We took a large chunk of ice back in to the classroom and watch it turn from solid ice into liquid water. It took exactly 1 hour until it all melted away. A super way to get some hands on learning and everyone certainly had great fun. â„ï¸â˜ƒï¸ðŸŒ¨
