We are so proud of our P5 boys who came home victorious from the primary school blitz hosted by St. Michael’s College, Enniskillen. St.Tierneys got off to a great start narrowly beating Killesher with the last kick of the game. Our two forwards Harry & Joey showed well and were helped out with our midfield paring of Ciáran Óg and Darragh. In our second game Jimmy played an outstanding game leading from the back and assisted by Tommy who was solid throughout. Kion pulled off some tremendous saves with Conor, Harry and Ciáran Óg providing the scores.
Our third game was against our neighbours Aghdrumsee and again excellent fielding from Darragh who had great support from Oisin, Adam, Filip and Aiden. This took us into the final where Ciáran Óg was leading by example scoring, blocking and covering back. Darragh was also outstanding in driving the team forward as was Jimmy. We won the final by two points beating Killesher in a hard fought game. Extremely proud of a great group of boys who played their hearts out. Thanks to Sinead and Mrs McElroy whose competitive spirit also came out on the tense sideline. Well done everyone on a great achievement.
