P5 are enjoying our newspaper report topic. We have gathered newspaper reports and looked at the format, picking out the main features such as direct speech, alliteration or a pun in the headline. As a class we chose to write a report on the Belfast Blaze which happened in the Primark buildings last August. We are currently preparing to write our own independent report next week. Here we are reading an article about a dog attacking a boy, deciding which statements are fact and opinion and looking at the evidence to support the facts.
